1st Amendment Freedom of Religion, Speech, & Association

The FYRE Foundation teaches Freedom.

The ability to form groups of like-minded individuals to debate or act on any particular matter one wants is a fundamental right.  Our American founders believed the first amendment, along with the second, were the key individual rights needed to put a check on tyrannical power and prevent its appearance.  The FYRE Foundation believes in freedom of all religions and encourages participation by any and all sects.  As the American republic founders intended, diffusion of many sects will prevent the prevalence of any one dominant religion that may usher in a theocracy.  Tempering that truth, the Founders also assumed that citizen leaders would be qualified in two ways:  1) enlightenment (education) and 2) virtue (morals and discipline).  Today, much of society lacks both qualifications.  The FYRE Foundation exists to educate and train youth, families, and the community on both qualities in order to better the rest of the nation through strengthening fundamental morals vital to our democracy.
