FYRE helps children who have been abused and neglected. Many of FYRE’s members and leaders were adopted as youth and/or are adoptive, surrogate, mentor parents, or Guardians ad Litem (GAL). Several FYRE families foster children themselves or are GALs, while offering counseling to perspective adoptive and foster families.

Education, Training, and Counseling
FYRE holds regular seminars to inform the public on how they can get involved with fostering, adopting, or being a voice for the children in the public foster care system. We provide information on available resources from the state and private organizations to help offset the costs of potential families ready to adopt, foster, or mentor children.
Foster Care and Adoption Assistance
For those who are already fostering or have adopted children, FYRE is here to help. Raising a family is not easy and bravo to you for stepping up to take-on other children in need. We provide respite care to the foster parents by offering youth programs for the foster children and adoptive children. Need grown-up time? FYRE provides opportunities to create new and meaningful relationships with other adoptive and foster parents who are going or have gone through the same ordeals.
Organizational Support
FYRE supports Choices Clinic in their work to protect the unborn and offer free alternatives to abortion.
FYRE supports Finally Home Christian Adoption Services in their work to unite seeking adoptive families with prospective mothers and children in need.
FYRE supports the Heart Gallery of Tampa in their work to promote children in need of a loving home.
FYRE supports the volunteer Guardians ad Litem who are the court-appointed “voice of the child” within the child welfare system.
FYRE supports the Guardians ad Litem of Tampa Bay in their work to advocate and provide voices for abused and neglected children within the system.
FYRE supports the Children’s Network of Hillsborough County in their work to recruit and manage foster parents and future adoptive parents.
